In Tsakhadzor was held a summer camp for the pupils living in border villages of Tavush marz
On June 15-17 by the initiative of Youth Foundation of Armenia (YFA) at the youth center in Tsakhadzor was held a summer camp for the pupils living in border villages of Tavush marz. For about 100 pupils at 9-11th form and teachers of 9 border villages such as Chinari, Berqaber, Berdavan, Nerqin Karmir Axbyur, Aygepar spent tree full days in Tsakhadzor. During the tree day camp the participants took part in medical trainings, they had conversations with pschycologists, took part in the discussions on patriotic issues, were taught patriotic and national songs and dances.
The coordinator of the Board of Trustees of YFA Karen Avagyan assured the pupils that the problems of the pupils and the youth living in border villages are at the center of attention of YFA and the projects for them would be continued. The 11th form pupil Volodya Avagyan, living in Nerqin Karmiraghbyur village told that they had already got used to hearing the shots of enemy. Volodya told that his parents taught him how to act while hearing the shots.
The pupils living in border villages had meetings with the head of the Pschycology Department of Medical University Khachatur Gasparyan and the head of Armenian Pschycological Association Armen Soghoyan. They tried to find out what king of realization of future the children living in border villages have.They helped the children to overcome the traumas.
This project held by YFA will be continued. In future in the project will take part children of other ages living in Tavush. This kind of projects will be held also among the children living in NKR.
